What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding is the action taken to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. This includes:
• Protecting children from abuse and neglect.
• Ensuring children grow up in safe, supportive environments.
• Taking action to ensure all children have the best outcomes.
